Sunshine Blogger Award 2020

A few days ago, I was nominated by Kae from Hello City Girl for the Sunshine Blogger Award! I recently discovered her blog and she has so many interesting posts on a variety of topics that range from activism to travel and lifestyle. My answers:

1. What did you want to be when you were small?

I honestly don’t remember! Maybe I didn’t have a clear idea back then (same as now ahaha) or it was so generic that I completely forgot, but I can guess something like teacher or working with cute animals… 😅

2. If you can live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Really tough question. I think there would be too many factors for me to really pick one – or maybe I have never been there yet. Some of my favourite cities to live in would be Paris, Seville, Aix-en-Provence and Brussels. I don’t think my ideal place actually exists though. I would love to live in a dynamic “green” city with a lot of opportunities and things to do, possibly with a river or next to the sea. My preferred type of weather is “Mediterranean” so a lot of sunshine and mild winters would also be important. ☀️

3. Do you hit the snooze button or wake up immediately?

I usually wake up before my alarm but still hit the snooze button… I actually put my alarm 30 minutes before the time I actually have to get up so I can stay in bed for longer! 😁

4. What are your top 3 favourite shows on Netflix?

I actually don’t watch a lot of series so I feel like I don’t know any of them. For sure Friends is one of my all-time favourites as I have re-watched it already many times. Another favourite is definitely Game of Thrones that I miss so much and really want to re-watch, and I also really loved the series Sherlock. Nothing very surprising there I would say!

5. What items on your bucket list are you planning to check off in the next 5 years?

I will try to be realistic here and don’t list too many items because if I could choose, I would tick them all off tomorrow… but I hope that in the next 5 years I would have:

• Seen the Northern lights
• Visited Los Angeles
• Done a road trip in Portugal, Iceland or Ireland (possibly all of them but, you know…)
• Made myself a dress from scratch
• Tried snorkelling in a cool spot (better keep it vague)

6. Do you enjoy big parties more or small gatherings?

Small gatherings 100%. Big parties have never really been my thing and I would much rather meet up with a smaller group of closer friends than be surrounded by hundreds of strangers!

7. What is the best gift you have been given?

I really appreciated all the gifts that I’ve ever been given so… all of them!  🥰

8. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

I’ve always been fascinated by invisibility so I think it would be that. But it depends if I have to save the world or not, I don’t think there’s much you can do with invisibility alone! 😂

9. What would you do if you win the lottery?

Surprisingly (or maybe not) I’ve thought about this question a lot! For sure I will donate part of the money to charity, or invest it in building a school in a developing country or something like that. Then, I would take care of my family and friends with gifts and experiences (traveling, houses, etc.). Finally, I would probably buy a house (or maybe two ahah) for myself, stop working for a year and go traveling all around the world! 🤩

10. What are you most terrified of?

I don’t have any phobias, luckily, but I do dislike some insects!

11. If you can be one celebrity or fictional character for a day, who would it be?

If I can go to Hogwarts then without hesitation Hermione! 🤩
