Travel Photo Challenge

In December, I was nominated by the lovely family of Our Crossings, to participate in a 10 Day Travel Photo Challenge. The goal of the challenge was to post each day, for 10 days, one travel picture without mentioning the location or anything else.

First of all, head over to Our Crossings and check their beautiful blog! The posts are so well written and give you all the information you need to travel to the places they are talking about – or to dream about going there since we can’t really travel at the moment. Plus, their pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I can guarantee you that you will love their blog and you will want to go to Ireland – and specifically to Sligo – as soon as the pandemic is over!

Now, onto the subject of today’s post: the travel photo challenge! Posting one picture a day for 10 days would be a bit too much for my current schedule, but I still want to participate, so I will simply add a twist to it!

What I loved in the original challenge, was that many bloggers were trying to guess the location in the comments, so I drew my inspiration from it, and I encourage all of you to try and guess where the pictures were taken (country, city, continent, planet, whatever) and tell me how well you scored!

Here are the pictures, some of which you may have seen in some of my previous blog posts:

Picture #1:

Picture #2:

Picture #3:

Picture #4:

Picture #5:

Easy bonus: the featured image on top of this post!

If you highlight the text below, the answers will appear:
#1: United Kingdom, St Ives
#2: Brazil, next to Fortaleza, Morro Branco
#3: Austria, Salzburg
#4: Japan, Tokyo
#5: Canada, MontrΓ©al

What was your score? 😊

Lovely pictures! I was obviously only ever going to guess number 2, 4, and 5 hahaha I would’ve said #3 looked like Amsterdam because of how close those buildings were to water (and because Amsterdam is the only place where I saw such things hahah)! Thanks for sharing! πŸ˜€

I almost got #3 (I guessed Innsbruck, Austria) – The architecture, especcially blue domes reeminded me of Hallstattt and other small mountain towns in Austria.

I knew #4 because I had been these – Sensoji in Asakusa. I went there in the evening when the place was lit up. I also had beer and skewers at Hoppy Street Izakayas next to it.

Wow, great guess for #3! I actually visited Salzburg on a road trip to Hallstatt, so that definitely counts! 😊
I didn’t go in the evening to Asakusa but I’m sure it looks absolutely magical! I have so many great memories of Japan, and food is definitely one of them! Thanks for droppinh by!
