When you plan a holiday to the Greek islands, you will have hundreds of different islands to choose from, and unless you have an unlimited time at your disposal, you’ll have to select a few to visit, leaving the rest for another trip in the future. In July, I went on a trip to Italy that started off with a fantastic stay in Florence, followed by an amazing road-trip through Tuscany, while we made our way to Rome. Our time there was limited as we only had a bit less than two days, so we had to make the most of it and, through thorough research and asking around, we selected what we thought were the best Tuscan towns to check out during our road trip.
A few weeks ago, I was able to fulfil one of my long-time dreams of going to Iceland, and it was truly amazing. I went there at the beginning of March and stayed there for a week. It was still winter, so to avoid being blocked by snow or other weather-related problems, we decided to go on a road trip in the South of Iceland, which has lower risks of snowstorms.

Amazing architecture, delicious food, cool bridges, thermal baths, fairy lights and breathtaking views. This is how I would describe Hungary’s capital in a few words. Out of all the cities I’ve been to, this is probably one of my favourites. One of the few where I’ve thought “I could live here”. The warm and sunny weather obviously helped.
