Happy New Year everyone! 🌟 The most festive month of the year always passes by so fast, and this one was no exception at all. With very busy work days, a weekend getaway and the long-awaited end-of-year holidays from work, I feel like I was writing my November review yesterday!
Happy holidays everyone! ✨ I am not currently in Brazil, and in fact I was there about three years ago, but I thought that since this post is going up on Christmas Day, I’d post a few memories from the year when me and my family went to Fortaleza, in the North-East of Brazil, to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. As Europeans, it felt quite strange to spend a usually “cold” holiday season in the Southern hemisphere, and here are the things that I loved the most about it!
Vienna is one of those beautiful cities that feel like you just walked in a fairy tale town, with its stunning buildings, beautiful architecture and gorgeous palaces. Around Christmas, it gets even more magical with light installations, Christmas markets that fill the air with a festive cheer and the smell of mulled wine and spices, and sometimes even snow.
Happy New Year everyone! 🥳 And like that again, another month comes to an end. December was cheerful, very busy but also relaxing. I very much enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere, even though I wish my holidays were much much longer…!
The first thing that gets me really excited about winter and December in general is Christmas and, more precisely, Christmas markets. There is something about them which makes me feel so festive and puts me in a great mood.
