I can’t believe it is spring already! How is that possible? The weather here is definitely getting warmer and the first signs of spring are there, but somehow I don’t feel in the “spring” mood yet, which is very odd because I just love everything about this season: the warmer and longer days, lighter clothes and pastel colours, flowers reappearing in the shops, seasonal fruits and veggies, and obviously the promise of Summer at the end of it all.
Anyway, regardless of my feeling about it, it is officially spring, which calls for the final round of my seasonal bucket lists. I posted Sumer, Autumn and Winter last year, so now it’s time for the beautiful season of Spring.

How did winter go?
Winter is probably my least favourite season, so the bucket list helped in making it a tad more enjoyable and to look forward to many things. I did leave it aside for February and March as I was moving houses, but I did nonetheless managed to tick off many things!
First of all, my trip to Vienna in early December was just perfect to do all the Christmassy things on the bucket list: I went to many Christmas markets, tried new food places, drank hot chocolate and went ice-skating in front of the Town Hall.
Back in Brussels, I did eat a lot of cheese-based dishes, like raclette or tartiflette (basically cheese and potatoes) and put up the few festive decorations that I had. I also played some boardgames, spent time with family and friends, watched a Christmas movie and read a winter-themed book, even though I haven’t finished it yet.
With the new year, along with my 2022 Review, I also wrote down my goals and intentions for the new year, which helped me to define exactly what I want out of this year, which will be challenging.
Spring bucket list
As always, this bucket list is not about stressing out to check everything off, but mostly to encourage myself to enjoy the season even more, to make this time of the year memorable and simply to make beautiful memories.
Now, here’s my Spring bucket list:
