The Lockdown Tag 2020

It’s been a very long time since I’ve done a β€œtag” here, so I was really glad when the lovely Kae nominated me! If you don’t know her blog already, I strongly encourage you to check it out, she really has a lot of great content!

That being said, let’s dive into the questions!

Rules

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Answer blogger’s questions.
  3. Nominate other bloggers.

Questions

Which country do you live in?
Right now, I live in Belgium, but I’ve moved around quite a lot in the past few years that I sometimes struggle to keep track!

Favourite book?
That’s a really, really tough one. I don’t have *one* favourite book but many books that I really like. Obviously, the Harry Potter series is high on the list.
I also really like Haruki Murakami’s books, especially Kafka on the Shore and Norwegian Wood.

How do you spend your time during lockdown?
Mostly working, and it’s been quite hard to find a good work/life balance at the beginning. Things are getting better now and I’ve mostly been enjoying the weather outside with my flatmates, eating, watching movies/series and, my new favourite hobby: doing watercolours!

Have you tried cooking a new dish because of lockdown? If yes, share the name?
Not as much as I would have like to, but I did experiment on making a type of pasta from scratch: orecchiette. It’s a specific type of pasta that is very famous in the South of Italy, and I really love it. The taste was great but it took me such a long time to make them!!

Early riser or Night owl?
100% early riser. I’m completely useless in the evenings… πŸ˜‚

Holiday dream destination?
SO MANY. From Chile to Uzbekistan, to Iceland to see the Northern lights, to a tropical island, my list seems to be never-ending…

Favorite food?
Another really hard question. Pasta and pizza are obviously in the top ten, then lately I’ve been craving a lot of sushi. I also really like sweet things and cakes, and cheese, and potatoes… and the list goes on and on, and on, and on.

Instagram or Twitter?
Instagram, definitely. Also, I don’t have Twitter and don’t really plan to create an account.

Favorite cartoon as a child?
Tough one. I know me and my sister used to watch a lot but I feel like we were never really β€œaddicted” to a specific cartoon. We used to really like Japanese cartoons though (Doremi, Hamtaro…)!

What do you prefer on a Saturday night? Netflix or Partying?
Netflix, always πŸ˜‚

My nominees

I won’t nominate specific bloggers but whoever wants to do the tag is welcome to! Please let me know if you do it though, I would love to hear your answers!

Feel free to answer to any of these questions (or all of them) in the comments too!
