Life update from Dorne

Some of you might have noticed that I haven’t been very active on the blog recently. This is partly because I was enjoying some holidays in the South of Italy (more on that pretty soon, I hope), and partly because I have been working quite a lot, and changed countries a few times.

Now that things are starting to get back to normal a bit, I thought I would post a quick article to get back on the “blogging” track and explain what I’ve been up to.

Where I am now:

I am currently writing to you from Sevilla, in Spain, which is the place where they shot some of the scenes set in Dorne, in the series Game of Thrones. Hence the title of this post. I will definitely post more things about this city as I have only been here for a week and a half and I already love it! So be prepared for a lot of tapas, sunshine and Spanish culture!

I haven’t been able to visit a lot yet, as I have been working, as well as taking Spanish classes here. So, if you have read my post about the month I spent in Russia a few months ago, then yes, I am basically doing the same thing!

I might talk about this other experience in another post, but I will wait until the end of the month, when I’ll have finished the classes, in order to give a better insight and review. So far though, I am really enjoying it, and I love being here!

Sevilla is a gorgeous city and it has exceeded all of the expectations I had. I can’t wait to share all of my thoughts about it with you!

Where I have been:

After a well-documented stay in the South of France and its gorgeous towns, I went on holiday in the South of Italy, in a region called Apulia. I have already prepared a post about it, so I hope I’ll manage to put it up quite soon!

After that, I went to Brussels for a few days, a city you will probably hear a lot about in the future as I will move there next month for a year… I don’t really know what to expect, but I am very excited about it!

So, this is it! I think this sums up pretty well the past month, and I hope some new posts will be up soon. I am truly enjoying this new city where I temporarily live, walking in its wonderful gardens and admiring its incredible architecture, eating a lot of tapas and trying to blend in with the locals.

What have you been up to this month? Did you go on holiday? Have you ever been in Spain?

Sììì, in Puglia! I have never been to Basilicata (only passing by when going to Puglia), so I’ve never visited Matera, but I really want to do it one day! As I go there every summer it might not include very touristy things, but I hope you’ll like it! Have you been to Puglia? 😊
